A Modern Modular Visitor Centre Combining Work, Learning and Living Spaces

The challenge
Maxi Space designed a layout for the new Visitor Centre, illustrating how a two-story modular building can host a variety of spaces, including offices, meeting rooms, educational areas, and residential-style units. The aim was to arrange these rooms and functions efficiently on both floors and provide a clear plan for implementation.
The solution
Maxi Space delivered a two‑storey Visitor Centre arranged as a ground‑floor workspace and education zone with a first‑floor residential‑style layout.
Ground floor includes:
- WC
- Meeting room
- Board room
- Open‑plan office
- Lobby
- Tea point
- Communal area
- Education space
- Stairwell
- Fire exits
First floor includes:
- Bathroom
- Covered walkway
- Bedroom 01
- Bedroom 02
- Study
- Living area
- Kitchen
- Entrance hall & storage
- Stairwell
- Decking area
Multiple exterior views and elevations were produced during design to define the building’s look and overall form, alongside a site layout for placement.
Delivery & Install
Maxi Space completed the Visitor Centre as a two‑storey modular building, coordinating access and placement to the defined footprint. The information developed during design supported detailed planning for installation and ensured the building could be set out and commissioned efficiently on site.
