72-Hour turnaround for the NHS Barleylands Eye Clinic in Essex to help with space issues at Hospitals.

The challenge

Coming out of lockdown, In Health Intelligence Ltd required emergency action to establish an NHS Barleylands Eye Clinic in Billericay. The local community had an urgent need for a dedicated Diabetes Eye clinic to restore crucial healthcare services without delay. A rapid response solution was vital to move from concept to installation in under a week to ensure key medical operations could resume safely and efficiently.

The solution

Maxi Space provided a 3-bay modular facility offering 42m2 of practical clinical and workspace. The interior layout was designed to maximise efficiency for staff and patients, featuring two clinical evaluation rooms, a central waiting area, a
reception area, and a kitchen facility. Supplied under a flexible hire contract, the modular building provided an immediate, high-impact healthcare environment tailored to local community needs.

Delivery & Install

Maxi Space achieved an exceptionally rapid turnaround, completing the project from initial order to full installation within just 72 hours. The entire building was delivered and installed on-site in a single day, ensuring zero unnecessary downtime and enabling immediate deployment for essential clinical use.
