New classrooms for school

The Billericay School commissioned Maxi Space to provide emergency classrooms; this was due to the closure of part of their existing school building. Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) had been identified, revealing structural issues which left parts the main building uninhabitable. A swift and speedy response was required as students were being educated offsite.

Maxi Space were proud to be able to offer a rapid response option that minimised the students time spent away from the school environment but also provided comfortable, inspiring learning spaces with a long-term life span. We were able to deliver and install the new classrooms within 4 weeks of our first contact with the school. Although these classrooms are a temporary solution, as they have a design life of over 20 years, they can easily be maintained or moved and repurposed in other parts of the school if required.

Billericay School were so pleased with the buildings that they have asked us to provide four further classrooms.
